We're a married couple from Orlando, Florida and we live with our not so little fur baby cat named Percy. We met in 2012 in our college choir group and haven't left each other's side since! We always love being goofy and finding joy in the little things while bringing you the best Disney World tips & tricks through our content.

Hey, I’m Kayla! You can think of me as your resident Disney mastermind and the one who runs all things Hemphilly Ever After. I plan & create our content, edit videos, write blog posts, all the things!
I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and I have absolutely ALWAYS been a Disney girl. I grew up on Disney movies and the Disney Channel and took my very first trip to Walt Disney World in 2005. I was HOOKED! I begged my family to take us back, but didn’t end up returning until 2017 for our honeymoon.
Beyond Disney, I was a theatre girl and even went to college for Costume Design (which is where I met Mark Alan). After college I spent some time working at our local professional theatre and then stumbled upon a job as a bridal stylist where I stayed for the next 6 years.
Something I have always loved doing is sharing my knowledge with those around me. That, plus our love for Disney and our YouTube Channel was born! Our community grew and grew and I knew that we needed a way for ya’ll to go deeper and connect one on one. Mark Alan
Hello! I’m Mark Alan… or Mark…. or Alan - it depends on who you ask. I am Kayla’s right hand man who assists in keeping the book keeping and financial aspects of Hemphilly Ever After on track. I also am our resident cameraman for our YouTube channel and the one responsible for all those buttery B-Roll shots.
I am originally from Illinois, but moved to Arizona during my teen years. Then for college I went to Kansas where I met Kayla and of course now we live in Orlando, Florida! I guess you could say I’ve been around the block.
Believe it or not, I was NOT always a Disney fan. Kayla dragged me somewhat reluctantly to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon, and to be honest….. I didn’t totally get it. It was fun, but I wasn’t hooked. It wasn’t until about six months later when I had a chance to let it all soak in that I started to feel the Disney blues. I stumbled onto the Disney YouTube side of the internet and when I started to learn about all the history behind the parks, THAT is where I became hooked.
I like to call myself fun fact Mark because I LOVE sharing all the tidbits and behind the scenes things I’ve learned about the parks. Sure, Disney is fun, but when you take the time to learn about the true storytelling of every detail, it really makes the parks so much more memorable. I always talk about how “it’s a small world” is my favorite attraction, which may sound weird… but as the kid with the music degree, when you think about how intricate and genius that seemingly simple song really is AND how subtle the storyline is until you know about it - it creates a whole new layer to this attraction that most people miss!
Where does this bring us now?
We LOVE creating content for you and it became time to take the plunge and be closer to the magic full time. We FINALLY moved to Orlando, Florida in January 2023 and we are incredibly thankful that we were able to do so.
We now get to visit the parks almost daily to bring you even more helpful tips to get the absolute MOST out of your trip.
