Unique Ways to Display Your Disney Trading Pins

So you’ve just come home from your Disney Vacation and you have a bunch of brand new Disney Pins that that you either purchased or maybe even traded! Now it’s time to display all those pretties so that you can enjoy them for years to come. Here are a few of my favorite ways to Display our pins!

Bulletin Boards

Probably the easiest way to show off those pins is with a bulletin board. These can come in all shapes, sizes and styles and can be an especially great option if you have ALOT of pins to display.

I like to find some that have unique shape, and you can even customize them a bit with a quick coat of paint.

Shadow Boxes

If you have a super special set or collection, you might consider getting a shadow box! You can technically punch through the backing with your pins, but BE SUPER CAREFUL as you could damage them by bending the post.

I recommend putting a thick felt or cork board on the back and then you can always paint it black if you want it to blend in.

We have our super special Epcot collection pins in a shadow box and it’s our favorite way to have these displayed out in our home.

Framed Pin Boards

Another great way to have your pins displayed in your home is with a framed pin board. This is a super easy DIY project that you can customize with any frame you like! Simply remove the glass from your photo frame and glue a piece of cork board to the backing.

I have a full video tutorial on how to make these here:

Felt Pin Wall

This is our current favorite way to display our pins in our home and it’s probably the easiest too! We found these super thick felt squares that have adhesive on the back. You simply peel and stick! I won’t lie….. I have no idea if these will destroy our wall when we eventually move out, but nothing a little coat of paint and spackle can’t fix!

We LOVE that these look a little more upgraded from typical cork board and they are really great to help with echos too. You can usually find these in a bunch of colors and shapes too.

Pin Bags

If you are someone who likes to wear your pins, you might want to pick up one of these super fun pin bags. They have clear fronts so that you can see your pins while still protecting them.

If you have a bag you love to use, you can also pick up a strap from the parks gift shops to change out on your bag to display them there. (much more comfortable than a lanyard if you are pin trading in the parks too)

Bags and Clothing

And of course the classic is to add your pins to your bags, hats, or even clothing! I highly recommend purchasing locking backs so that you don’t have to worry about accidentally loosing one while out and about. You can pick these up in the parks or on Amazon!
