Brand New Drone Show in Disney Springs - Disney Dreams That Soar
There is an ALL NEW drone show in Disney Springs and we got to experience the first night! We LOVED this show and want to share some tips and tricks so that you can successfully see this on your trip this summer.
What is it?
Disney Dreams That Soar (Presented by AT&T) is a new limited time nightly show offered at Disney Springs. You can catch it each night at 9:00pm and 10:45pm through September 2nd, 2024.
This show showcases 800 drones that are synced to music and light up the sky with some of your favorite Disney Characters - including an all new score! We also want to note that ALL of these characters are ones that fly, so it makes this show have a great theme!
There isn’t a huge storyline to this show, but it is amazing to see the massive scale of it, especially if you haven’t seen a drone show before.

Where to Watch
There are a few different options of where you can view this show, but the BEST locations are going to be along the waterfront between House of Blues and Summer House on the Lake. This is also the ONLY place they pipe in the music, so if that is important to you, you might want to prioritize this viewing location. (more info on how to get a spot later) There is also Handicap Accessible Viewing in front of the Food Trucks.
Some alternate locations that you may look into if you don’t want to mess with the crowds is the top of the Coca Cola Store. You can grab a fun beverage and then hang out on the balcony! You may even catch some fireworks in the distance! Again, it is important to know that you won’t hear the music from here or any of the other locations I’m about to mention.
If you are dining at places like the Boathouse, Jock Lindsey’s, or even the Lava Lounge at Rainforest Cafe, you should be able to see the show from the outside dining areas! This will definitely be more off to the side, so the images won’t be super clear as to what you are looking at, but it’s still fun to see the lights up in the air.
If you are looking for dining with a decent view (and music) I recommend getting an outdoor table at Summer House on the Lake or Jaleo. I’ve heard that some of these restaurants may even have a special menu for the summer just for this!
If you want a spot with even fewer crowds, you might want to venture over to Saratoga Springs! This is also going to be another area with a fantastic view, just note that the last image with the words is going to be backwards, and again, no music.
How to Get in the Main Viewing Area
Cast Members will have a special area over behind House of Blues, near Cirque Du Solei where guests will line up before entering the viewing area. There are plenty of signs that lead the way of where to go, but if you need a little extra help, don’t be afraid to ask a Cast Member! If you are looking for the Accessible viewing, you will enter from over by the Food Trucks. (again, just follow the signs.)
They will allow guests into the viewing area around 1 hour before showtime. I honestly don’t think you need to show up more than an hour in advance unless you REALLY want to be up front against the railing. You can definitely still see great from a little further back, so any of that space will be a good view.
I also HIGHLY recommend going to the later 10:45pm showing if you can! Just like Fantasmic, the later shows almost always tend to be less busy and MUCH easier to get the best spot.
If you are super particular about the angle of your view, the BEST spot is in front of Summer House on the Lake or Jaleo as you’ll be directly straight on to the images. The closer to House of Blues you are, the angle may be slightly skewed, but still very easy to tell what everything is.
