Remy’s Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt

If you are looking for some family friendly fun at this year’s Food and Wine Festival, Remy’s Hide & Squeak may be just the thing! This is a great activity for all ages and you can even get a prize at the end to take home.

What is it?

The goal of the game is to spot the many little Remy statues scattered throughout the park. Each one will be holding a vegetable or cooking item and your job is to match the corresponding stickers to the correct locations on your Scavenger Hunt map.

These suckers can be ANYWHERE so look high and low! You never know where Remy might be! I won’t spoil all the locations, but lets take a look at one ‘freebie’ so that you know what to do.

One of the stops on your map is Brazil. There isn’t a Brazil pavilion, but there is a Brazil food booth! When you head over there and look around, you’ll spy Remy on top of the building itself. On this one, you’ll notice that he has some bread, so you’ll place the bread sticker over the Brazil circle on your map!

You’ll continue this for every location and once you have completed your scavenger hunt, you can redeem it for a prize.

Pricing

You can purchase the map at most merchandise locations around the park. Pricing is $9.99 per map and if you have an Annual Pass or other discount it’s only $8.50.

If you want the prize, you do have to purchase a map, but if you don’t care too much about that, you can still look around for the Remy’s on your own.

Prizes

This year you can get a cute little bowl featuring one of four patterns.

Figment in his chef hat

Mickey with some food & wine themed eats

Mickey with some cute cooking related sayings

and of course Remy with a variety of foodie & Epcot related images. That’s the one I got!

You can redeem your map for ONE bowl, so if you want all four, you’ll need to purchase four maps.

You do NOT have to complete your scavenger hunt to get your prize! I won’t lie, some of those Remy’s are hard to find, so if you would rather pick up your prize when you purchase your map so that you don’t forget later, you absolutely can.

Redemption locations are World Traveler (by International Gateway), Disney Traders (at the front of World Showcase), Creations Shop, and Gateway Gifts (under Spaceship Earth).

BONUS

If you are visiting between September 27th and Halloween, you can also participate in a similar scavenger hunt called Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit!

It works pretty much the same way, except for this you’ll be on the hunt for Disney Character themed pumpkins all around the park!
