Getting There

Hoop-Dee-Doo is located in Pioneer Hall at the the Settlement in Fort Wilderness Resort. This is all the way at the back end of the resort, near the boat docks. So depending on where you are coming from, there are two ways to get there.

If you are coming from Magic Kingdom, this is probably the easiest - you’ll simply hop on a ferry boat to Fort Wilderness and then it drops you off right at the Settlement.

If you are coming from another resort, park, or Disney Springs, you will be entering from the parking lot. The parking lot is at the very front of the resort, so no matter if you took a bus, car, or Uber, you will need to transfer to one of the internal buses. This bus ride can take about 10-20 minutes depending on how busy it is, so make sure you are leaving LOTS of extra time to get there.

How Much?

This is all you care to enjoy, so it is a flat rate. However, the price will vary depending on where you are sitting. Category 1 is the main floor in the center. These are going to be your best seats and most expensive at $74 per adult, and $44 per child (ages 3-9). These as well as Category 2 are also going to be your wheelchair accessible seating.

Category 2 is also on the main floor, but it around the perimeter. These seats might be good if you want to be in the middle of the action, but maybe not RIGHT in the middle of the action. Prices for these seats are $69 per adult, and $40 per child (ages 3-9).

Category 3 is going to be your balcony seating. These are great for those that may have sensory needs or simply if you want a less expensive price. These are NOT wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind when booking. Prices for these seats are $66 per adult, and $39 per child (ages 3-9).

Reservations can be made 60 days in advance and payment is due upon booking, so be ready with that credit card in hand on your booking day!

Check-in

You can check in 30 minutes before your reservation time. I recommend getting there early so that you can be seated faster. You’ll get a little yellow ticket with your table number and then at your reservation time, they will seat you at your table. They will seat for about 20 minutes and then the show will begin! To check-in, just look for the DVC booth right in front of Pioneer Hall.

While you wait, there is a nearby booth that has wine, beer, and soda available for an additional price. (ya know… in case you want to pre-game a little bit).

What’s included

As mentioned before, this is all you care to enjoy! That means if you want more of something, simply ask your server. (this even includes all you care to enjoy wine, beer, and sangria!)

For dinner you are greeted at your table with cornbread, coleslaw, and a house salad. These were all super tasty and that cornbread is to die for!

Then your main course will come out including fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and baked beans. I personally am not a fan of how Disney does baked beans (they do a tangy sauce instead of sweet) but the rest of it was fantastic! The mac & cheese was honestly some of the best I’ve had on property.

For dessert you finish out with a heaping pan of strawberry shortcake! There was a little too much strawberry sauce for me, but the cake part was delicious and the performers even have a whole song to go along with it when it comes to your table.

The Entertainment

The performance is honestly the real reason you go to Hoop-Dee-Doo! The Pioneer Players do an excellent job! If you are familiar with traditional melodrama, it has a very similar feel. There is LOTS of music and dancing and a ton of great jokes that will keep you laughing the entire time.

This is a very clean show and totally perfect to bring the whole family to! This is an almost two hour experience that is sure to leave you smiling by the end. I highly recommend adding this to your Disney Bucket List!
