Where to Find Breakfast in the Magic Kingdom
note: some of these restaurants may still be closed or have rotating menus, check the Disney Website for current hours and menus
I don’t know about you, but in order for me to have a happy, non grumpy or ‘hangry’ day at the Magic Kingdom, I HAVE to get some breakfast to start my day! Of course I can always bring some granola bars in the morning, but I usually like to have something just a little more substantial.
I have also found that it can sometimes be tricky to find breakfast in the park if you aren’t sure where to look. We are big fans of rope drop so we are there right at or well before the park opens which means not everything is open. I’m going to share some of my go to’s as well as several more options so throughout the park so that you can start your day with a happy belly!
Sit Down Dining
If you are into a more relaxing and chill morning and you want to have a real sit down meal before you start your day at the parks, Magic Kingdom has several great options for Table Service Dining!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
If you are looking for the ultimate Disney Princess Experience, Cinderella’s Royal Table is perfect! This is a character meal featuring several Disney Princesses including Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, and Ariel.
This is a set price restaurant at $62 per adult and $37 per child. This is a bit of a pricey breakfast, but it’s worth it to eat in the castle, right?
Each table is given an assortment of pastries and meal options are anything from your standard Eggs and bacon breakfast to something a little more fun like Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast!
This reservation is VERY hard to get, so if this is on the top of your list, make sure you are ready to book this first as soon as reservations become available!
The Plaza Restaurant
We LOVE this restaurant! Nestled right at the end of Main Street is this little restaurant. Featuring a lovely early 20th century vibe, the cast members are super friendly and this has a relaxed, laid back feel.
You will find some typical breakfast items here (including Mickey Waffles!) as well as some specialty seasonal items. When we ate here last, I had the Fried Green Tomatoes Eggs Benedict and it was seriously one of the best Disney breakfasts I’ve ever had!
You can also find some great smoothie options if you like a sweet treat in the morning!
Crystal Palace
This is another Character meal location featuring friend from Winnie the Pooh!
This is a buffet style breakfast with many offerings for anyone to enjoy! This menu features things such as eggs, breakfast meats, pastries, potatoes, fruits, and of course pancakes and Mickey Waffles!
This is also a somewhat pricier breakfast at $42 for adults, and $27 for children, but this is one of the only places you will be able to meet these characters!
Be Our Guest
This is a prix fixe priced restaurant in Beast’s Castle from Beauty and the Beast! Your meal includes an assortment of pastries for the table as well as an entree and non alcoholic beverage.
The menu features some ‘fancier’ breakfast items such as Croque Madame, Crossiant Doughnuts, Quiches, and more. (Don’t worry, you can still get your eggs and bacon here with Gaston’s Breakfast Feast).
This meal is priced at $29 for adults and $16 for children, this one isn’t as pricey as a character meal, but this is the only way you can go inside Beast’s Castle, and it’s much less expensive than lunch or dinner.
Quick Service Options
Gaston’s Tavern
If you Love Cinnamon rolls, you HAVE to try one of these giant one’s from this location! They are super fluffy and almost cakey, and come drizzled with cream cheese frosting and caramel for a super sweet morning treat! And this is totally big enough to share!
Don’t forget to wash it down with some LeFou’s Brew! (if you can handle more sweet).
Main Street Bakery (aka Starbucks)
Who doesn’t love good ol’ Starbucks? If you need your morning coffee fix, this is the place to do it! Of course they have all of your standard Starbucks coffee and food options, but you will also find some specialty Disney treats as well! Our favorite was when they had the giant Mickey Donuts!
These do change from time to time, so check with the Disney Website for the most recent menus.
Be prepared, this location is known for having LOOONG lines, especially early in the morning. If you are trying to rush a ride, I would recommend doing that first and then getting your coffee fix, or try one of these other locations to grab your morning coffee.
Sleepy Hollow
We have not had the chance to try this one yet, but it is at the very top of our list! Everyone RAVES about the waffle sandwich (taco…?) that you can find here. It is a waffle topped with fresh fruit and Nutella and sounds absolutely scrumptious! They also have a Chicken and Waffles version that is available later in the day.
You can also find a giant Mickey Waffle here loaded with Strawberries and Powdered Sugar, but you can also get it without the strawberries.
They do also have Joffrey’s coffee available at this location.
Cheshire Cafe
This one is debated as to whether it is a breakfast treat or dessert, but we’ll let you decide! This is a flaky pastry filled with chocolate and drizzled with colorful chocolate as well. If you like a morning donut or just a sweet treat, this is a perfect morning option!
The hours for this location does vary, but if you walk by you will be able to smell it if they are open!
The Friar’s Nook
We’ve talked alot about sweet treats, so how about some savory, shall we? This location tends to rotate it’s menu quite frequently, but they are a great place to grab some eggs and bacon or a breakfast sandwich!
This place is also famous for their tots, so consider grabbing the Sausage Gravy tots for a fun mix on biscuits and gravy!
We have also heard that the Cinnamon Donuts are to die for, so grab some of those to share.
Westward Ho
We were recently able to try this location and we were thrilled that we finally gave it a try! They have some of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches you will ever have! They come on a flaky multigrain croissant and is filled with bacon, eggs, and gooey cheddar cheese.
This has for sure become a new go to for us and they also have powdered cinnamon-sugar donut holes that we want to give a try next time.
We also tried the Joffrey’s cold brew from here and it was pretty good!
Joffrey’s Revive in Tomorrowland
If Starbucks is too crazy, you might get lucky at Joffrey’s in Tomorrowland. This is a small little kiosk located near Space Mountain. Along with coffee, you can often find donuts or a few other pastries for a quick morning breakfast.
I LOVE breakfast, and a good breakfast means a great rest of my day! Hopefully this list gives you some great options for your next Magic Kingdom Day!
