Valentine’s Day Ideas for the Adventure Loving couple!

That oh so sweet day is almost here and it can be fun to do something a little out of the ordinary!
Sure, going to a fancy dinner and getting some flowers and chocolates is fun and all, but I have some fun ideas that are not your typical date night and are sure to add a little adventure into your Valentine’s Day.
1.The Adventure Challenge
This is our newfound absolute favorite way to experience a date night! The Adventure Challenge journal is full of dates and challenges that you can do with your loved ones!
There are 4 main books: Couples Edition, Family Edition, Friends Edition, and Solo Edition. No matter who you are wanting to share some Valentine’s fun with, you are covered!
Each book contains mystery challenges that have hints to tell you what category it is. You pick the one that sounds fun, scratch it off and Rule number 1 is YOU HAVE TO DO THE CHALLENGE! NO MATTER WHAT!
Some are goofy, creative, messy, and of course adventurous, but they are sure to give you some memories that you will be talking about time and time again!
At the end of each adventure, you have space in the journal to write about your experience and even pop in a photo to commemorate your adventure!

2.Geocaching
Looking for something a little more budget friendly? Geocaching is a super fun activity that you can do literally anywhere!
“Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.”
Geocaching is essentially a scavenger hunt to find hidden ‘caches’ all around your town or city. Sometimes there will be small trinkets and treasures that others left behind and sometimes there are lists of names or notes that you can add to.
Just remember that if you take something from a box, be sure to replace it with something else!
You never know what you will find, so theres always a sense of mystery and adventure time and time again!
You can download the app on any smartphone and choose your location. There is a paid version that will give you extra hints and images, but the free version works great too!
This is a creative date that many people may have not heard of, but some of my husband and I’s fondest dates were going Geocaching! He even set up a fake one to propose to me!
Not only is this for date night, but it can be a fun way to get the whole family involved!
Finally, for a super unique gift that is super special, we have Mapiful.

You can create a custom map with the location of where you met, where you live, or even just your happy place!
